Description:
Based upon qualifications, the Marketing Strategist, in collaboration with EMC staff, will
contribute to EMC marketing efforts by:
• Helping lead content curation, execution, and strategy for EMC social media outlets, to include blog, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
• Taking photos/videos, designing graphics, and writing copy for EMC social media outlets, website, and e-news
• Updating EMC website
• Conceptualizing, designing, and disseminating marketing materials (one-sheets, brochures, posters, etc)
• Organizing and executing marketing efforts/campaigns across multiple platforms and communication channels
• Refining and maintaining a consistent voice for internal & external communications
• Creatively strategizing ways to foster community, both within the studio and on-campus
• Assisting with other tasks as necessary

Qualifications:
• Must be able to work during regular business hours (M-F 9-5) and some supervisor-selected evenings or
weekends
• Must understand or be willing to learn about media development and experiential learning as the core services of the EMC
• Must possess strong creative skills (written and visual) and excellent spelling/grammar
• Additional skills in video/photography, graphic design, and/or event management a plus
Approximate Hours per Week: 10
